We've shipped a set of improvements focused on room management and team roles. Here's what's new.
Admin Rights
Room owners can now promote members to admin status directly from the room. Admins gain elevated permissions — they can manage stories, control voting rounds, and help keep sessions running smoothly without needing full owner access.
This is especially useful for larger teams where the room creator can't always facilitate every session.
3-Dots Menu on Member Cards
Each member card now features a context menu (three-dot icon) that gives quick access to management actions. Depending on your role, you can:
- Promote a member to admin
- Revoke admin rights
- Remove a member from the room
The menu keeps the interface clean while making these actions easily accessible when you need them.
Sorting by Name
The member list is now sorted alphabetically by display name. No more scanning through a randomly ordered list to find someone — members appear in a consistent, predictable order every time.
Owners & Admins
We've made the distinction between roles clearer throughout the interface:
- Owner — the room creator with full control over settings, members, and stories
- Admin — a promoted member who can manage stories and voting rounds
- Member — a regular participant who votes on stories
Role badges now appear on member cards so everyone can see who has what permissions at a glance.
